If the container has a top which is as wide at the opening as the base with a snap-on lid like a margerine container, then it is usually an acceptable wide mouth plastic tub.

Examples of wide mouth tubs are typically food in your dairy section and include containers for margarine, ice cream and family size yoghurt tubs.

Containers over 10 litres or any pails with metal handles are not acceptable.
Food trays typically used for bakery products such as cookies, muffins, fast food are not tubs and are not acceptable. Clam shell containers typically used for produce such as pre-made salads, strawberries, blueberries are also not tubs and are not acceptable. Other containers not considered tubs include pudding cups, individual sized yoghurt cups, any microwaveable trays, or garden planters.
