Attention: Snow Day
After careful review of local roads conditions with the Ministry of Transportation, the Ontario Provincial Police, and local roads crew, the Bluewater Recycling Association regretfully announces that, as a result of reduced visibility, the following route for November 21st has been cancelled after partial completion. The cancellation affects the following area:
Town of Goderich
Regular collection will resume on Friday, November 28th, 2008.
The Bluewater Recycling Association is pleased to report that the rest of our vehicles were dispatched out for regular collection, however due to the hazardous conditions currently in effect over some the areas, it may be possible that some areas will be missed on Friday, November 21st where the safety of our operators is compromised. Areas expecially affected include:
Municipality of Lambton Shores
Township of Brooke-Alvinston
Municipality of Middlesex Centre
Town of Strathroy-Caradoc
In those areas, main roads are being serviced first with secondary roads being serviced as accessible. We recommend that you keep your material until the next scheduled collection, if possible to ease with the removal of the snow by the municipal crews. Thank you for your understanding.
