Material Guide
As of January 1st 2026, we’ve made a few changes to the residential recycling list! The updated list allows for more materials to be collected and recycled, helping to keep even more waste out of landfill and creating one consistent list across Ontario. Please note that commercial recycling is excluded from the provincial Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) model for residential recycling. To keep costs as low as possible for business owners—and to ensure all collected materials can continue to be properly marketed and recycled— commercial properties will continue to follow the current list of accepted materials.
Â
We are updating our website Material Guide to reflect these changes, for now you can download our Residential and Commercial guides here:
Note: This material guide is provided to help you find the most environmentally friendly way to dispose of the displayed item. Â It does not mean that they are recyclable in the blue box or other program. Â Many of these materials require alternative disposal, please click on each product for a detailed page explaining proper disposal and options.
